These are a terrestrial crab out of Indonesia. They are totally awesome, I just love them. I keep them EXACTLY like I keep frogs so my web page on caring for frogs and building terrariums covers these guys also. They like a water feature in the tank but they don't need one. They eat dusted fruit flies and crickets just like frogs. They'll also eat flake fish food and Hikari Crab Cuisine. Sometimes you'll see what looks like a dead crab in your terrarium but don't worry it's just the molted shell. It looks amazingly like a dead crab but it's not. These things breed like crazy. The mom carries the eggs and baby crabs on the top of her shell until they're ready to be released. You won't even notice this, you'll just see 30 or 40 really small crabs running around the tank! The baby crabs eat the same stuff the parents do, flake fish food and dusted fruit flies. As with all animals I sell, these were born and raised in my own home. Captive born crabs like these do MUCH better than wild caught. You might pay less for wild caught but be ready to have at least half of them die on you. My captive born crabs will do great for you. These are a very hardy, easy to care for, terrarium addition. I have no idea if they can live with frogs, I've never tried it. The juveniles that I'm shipping are 4 or 5 months old and will be breeding for you by 10 or 12 months. They are 6 for $150.
